Capturing a pristine, late summer day in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State.  The loosely interpreted sky and mowed field with distant hay bales dotting the scene brings a sense of movement and warmth.  The artist exclaimed to her friends that day, "Look at that field!  It doesn't even look real, it's so beautiful!"  This was the emotion captured by this painting.  A mix of awe and wonder at the expanse and glory of God's creation.
